My third blog I've created, where I'll post my favourite damsel in distress pictures, and write similar stories. All the pictures are mine,as I paid for them. I'll add other thoughts too, whatever my mind feels like.

The End Of The Japanese Battleship Yamato - World Documentary Films HD
World War 2 Naval Aviation has always interested me,especially battles between the US Pacific Fleet and the Imperial Japanese Navy.
I have to admit I enjoyed watching this,as the American air power totally overwhelmed the largest battleship ever built; The mighty 'Yamamoto'
Even so,I fully agreed with one of the American pilots who helped to sink the 'Yamamoto',as he said he had mixed feelings over this.On the one side,he said he felt satisfaction that he'd helped to succeed in the mission.Yet,he also felt sadness that he knew a lot of the young Japanese crew on the 'Yamamato' did not survive.
Out of a crew of over 2000,only 200 survived.
